We have not rendered depth of field yet. Lilly, in the foreground will be out of focus slightly. A lot of credit to these two scenes goes to Tyler Lancaster in these two shots because he developed a simple lighting technique that is a lot less expensive in render times than the previous method we were going to use. And of course it looks beautiful.
About a minute per frame, combined. 38 sec for the diffuse (2 lights). 35 sec for Scatter (2 lights)We also used a pinked colored background in the open GL to help fill in the shadows. Select camera, change background color from black to pink.
I really like this color and full body softness we get with a spot light, back-lighting him.
This gives us a lot to work with in post. It was a real help in removing the green shadows.

Nothing like a good 200 frame spline to brighten up your day and make your mile. I still don't understand what happened here.
Poor Lilly, it's not her fault. I'm sorry kiddo.
Old man Nolan, the village idiot.
:( All I did was copy one key frame and paste it....
